Traffic Alert: St. Charles Road and York Street Signal Repair

TRAFFIC ALERT

The City has hired a contractor to remove and replace a new boom arm traffic signal pole at the intersection of St Charles Road and York Street, This is necessary to replace one that was damaged in a traffic accident. The work is planned for Monday, April 1.

Work will begin around 7:30 AM and take most of the day. The lane adjacent to the pole will be closed and intersection signals will be in flashing, four-way stop mode, during much of the work.  The contractor will deploy additional stop signs and other necessary lane markers.
