Parking in Elmhurst
The City provides ample parking for a variety of uses in the Central Business District (CBD). The parking system is not based on assigned parking and works on a first come, first served availability. Parking permits and overnight passes can be purchased at City Hall, 209 N. York St.
Free ParkingFree three hour parking is available throughout the CBD. Daily coin spaces for $2.00 can be used for extended parking requirements. Moving a vehicle from one space to another within the zone will not qualify the vehicle for additional timed parking. The entire CBD is designated Zone A parking.
All permit lots and daily coin spaces are free on all weekends, City-observed holidays, and weekdays from 5:00 pm through 12:00 midnight.
