Starting north of North Ave. and continuing to Grand Ave., North Elmhurst has several small strip malls. A variety of stores, businesses, car rentals, fast food chains, and fine restaurants make up the majority of this area. Also located in this area is the Mariano's. In this same area on Lake St., between York Rd. and Route 83, are several very good restaurants, and the AmeriSuite Hotel.

This corner is one of the busiest intersections in Illinois and has restaurants, fast food establishments, and a Courtyard by Marriott.
Located at Butterfield Road and York Street, South Elmhurst has several smaller restaurants, a Jewel Food Store, three ice cream parlors, several fast food establishments and other shops.
This area is a very active district. There are restaurants, a bakery, local taverns, plus other local businesses. The Spring Road Business Association
hosts holiday gatherings such as the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade, the Elmhurst Pet Parade and Music at the Gazebo.

This area has many established stores and businesses, a commercial shopping strip, as well as a spa/salon, restaurants, and much more. The York & Vallette Business Association
