Vaccine Information from DuPage County Health Department
Since the pandemic began, DuPage County has been preparing to make one or more COVID-19 vaccines available as soon as possible. There is a nation-wide limited supply of COVID-19 vaccines, however it is believed that vaccine access will continually increase in the weeks and months to follow. The DuPage County Health Department is working with partners at all levels, including hospitals, health care providers, and community leaders, on flexible COVID-19 vaccination programs that can accommodate different vaccines and scenarios.

Anyone who lives, works, or attends college/university in DuPage County can register for updates about where and when the COVID-19 vaccine will be available on the DuPage County Health Department vaccine website.
The transition to Phase 1b of the COVID-19 vaccine distribution began on Monday, January 25, 2021. It is anticipated that it may take approximately 12 weeks to vaccinate the nearly 270,000 individuals across DuPage County who meet the Phase 1b criteria. Over the coming months, individuals will be able to access the vaccine through a health care provider, retail pharmacies, the Health Department and many other locations. As the vaccine supply increases, more information will be available from providers about vaccine scheduling.
