Purpose
For the protection of the health, welfare, and safety of the community, registration of businesses and occupations is hereby required in order to assist the City in determining:

• The name of the owner and operator of such business or occupation
• The address and telephone number of the person in charge of conducting such business or occupation
• The type of business being conducted and whether the business is in compliance with the zoning ordinance and other ordinances of the City and state statutes

Guidelines
No license, permit, or registration shall be issued for the conduct of any business, purpose, or activity if the premises and building to be used for the purpose do not fully comply with all applicable ordinances and regulations of the City or any other governmental body.

No license, permit, or registration shall be issued for the conduct of any business or performance of any act which would constitute a violation of any zoning, building, or fire prevention ordinances.
