1. What if an applicant does not have 45 hours of college credit completed at time of testing?

Police officer applicants must have earned a minimum of forty-five (45) semester hours of credit (100 level or above) from a regionally accredited college or university at the time of application.

2. Does military service or experience substitute for the college requirement?

There are no substitutions for the college requirement; all applicants must have 45 credit hours.

3. I have college credit from a school out of the country, does that count?

College credit must be from an accredited institution and you must submit a transcript to verify hours. You must contact your college and inquire if they are accredited.
