The City's Senior Commission makes recommendations to the City Council in regards to ordinances relating to senior citizens. They investigate the needs and concerns of senior citizens and provide education programs for those citizens. City of Elmhurst Senior Safety Symposium

The City of Elmhurst and the City’s Senior Citizens Commission presented an event catered to safety and City services we offer related to our senior citizen residents. This event was held on April 26th at the Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church (149 W. Brush Hill Rd., Elmhurst). Presenters included members of our police, fire, and public works departments as well as representatives from Metropolitan Family Services, Elmhurst Park District, and the DuPage Senior Council. In conjunction with the presentations, vendors and demonstrations occurred outside of the auditorium.
