Public Arts Commission
- Three members shall serve an initial term of one year
- Three members shall serve an initial term of two years
- Three members shall serve an initial term of three years
- All successor terms shall be three years
There shall be a minimum of four regular meetings each year held quarterly at City Hall conference room #2 at 4:00 p.m.
PurposeMCO 4.05
The purpose of the Commission is to implement a citywide plan for the promotion and thoughtful placement of public art that includes, but is not limited to, sculptures, murals, and paintings, in an effort to improve the business climate and aesthetic appeal of the City of Elmhurst. The Commission shall undertake certain tasks in order to promote existing public art installations and to procure and implement new public art installations throughout the City. The Commission shall follow Robert's Rules of Order, unless it establishes its own rules of governance.
