The Wastewater Collection & Treatment division operates, maintains and manages:
- 8 million gallon per day (MGD) activated sludge wastewater treatment facility (peaking 79MGD)
- Collects and analysis over 1,500 process and IEPA sanitary samples each year
- 10 sanitary sewer lift stations and force mains
- 144 miles of the sanitary sewer collection system
- 3,700 manholes
- 6 sanitary flow monitoring devices
- Monitor over 100 food establishments for fats oils and grease discharges
- 12 emergency sanitary overflow locations
